Your mini-project
this term is to write a short book for younger children. Think
about aiming it at children aged between about four and six.
We have talked
about children's books in school and I would like you to use your
homework time this week to start the planning for your story.
Who is the
story going to be about? You need to choose your main character
carefully. Remember that children's books are often about animals,
toys or young children.
Spend some
time drawing your main character, deciding where the story is
going to take place and thinking about what is going to happen
in your story.
