Resources used for a Y3/4 class to help with writing newspaper articles.

The stucture picture was displayed on IWB, and the different parts were explained verbally.  We then wrote examples together on IWB.

The children were then given a 'newsworthy' (UFO appearing) picture on IWB and used the planning sheet to practise planning a newspaper article about the picture. The structure diagram appears in the planning document to help the children remember what to include in each part.
