Body Parts
contributed by Fiona Thomson

Fiona writes: 'The children in my class love to play a french version of beetle drive. I do it with a boy and call it Le Garcon Promenade.

The children have to roll:
6 = The body - Le corps
5 = The head - La tete
4 = Legs x 2
3 = Arms x 2
2 = Foot x 2
1 = Arms x 2

The rules are exactly the same as beetle drive and the children work on their own garcon in teams of 4 and circulate round the class.
It is a fast game and i encourage the children to use the french terms for the body parts. When someone has a 'garcon' then they shout out. The game stops, the children move on and start again till all 6 games are played.'
