'Smarties'
idea contributed by Jane Rawlinson

Jane
writes:"Smarties are handy for colours. You need to
check first that no-one is allergic handy to have a few
white choc buttons or mints just in case.
Introduce
the colours then finish off the lesson with the Smarties game.
Tip a Smartie into the lid in your hand making sure no-one sees.
Children then have to guess...
Devine
la couleur!
Le
bonbon est bleu?
Non!
Ce nest pas bleu!
They
must listen to the others to improve their chance of winning
(and eating) the Smartie.
I
have used this with lots of different age and ability groups
with a high retention of vocabulary."
